BLACKPINK's LISA, JENNIE and JISOO are prepping new treats for their fans. LISA will release a new single called "Born Again" featuring Doja Cat and Grammy nominee RAYE on Feb. 6. It'll be included on her debut album, Alter Ego, due Feb. 28. Meanwhile, JENNIE's announced The Ruby Experience: Three shows celebrating her debut album, Ruby. She'll play LA on March 6, New York on March 10 and Seoul on March 15. Tickets go on sale Jan. 31; presales start Jan. 29. And JISOO will release her debut project, AMORTAGE, on Feb. 14.
Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" may not be #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 anymore, but it's still on top of Billboard's Radio Songs chart, which measures radio airplay. In fact, it just hit its 26th week at #1, tying it with The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" for the record of longest-ever run on top of that tally. Meanwhile, Teddy Swims' "Lose Control" has now spent 75 weeks on the Hot 100. Only six other songs have ever spent 75 weeks or more on the chart — but the record to beat is 91 weeks, currently held by Glass Animals' "Heat Waves."
Coldplay set a record on Saturday and Sunday with their concerts in Ahmedabad, India. According to their record label, their shows at Narendra Modi Stadium drew more than 222,000 fans — more than 111,000 at each show — making those performances the largest stadium concerts of the 21st century.
On Jan. 31, Akon will release Akon's Beautiful Day (The Remixes), an eight-track collection that offers different versions of his comeback single, remixed by a variety of producers, including David Guetta.
