Southern Living has listed the ‘most beautiful places in Georgia’ according to a ‘born-and-raised’ local.

From Savannah to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the list is pretty impressive. I personally think that Lake Burton and the surrounding area is one of the most beautiful places in the state. See if your favs made the list:

  • Jekyll Island
  • Tallulah Gorge State Park
  • Cumberland Island
  • Little Grand Canyon
  • Helen
  • Rock City Gardens
  • St. Simons Island
  • Forsyth Park
  • Downtown Thomasville
  • Callaway Resort & Gardens
