Journalists Cari Champion and Jemele Hill are facing some backlash after asking Jake Paul whether his victory over Nate Robinson was racist.

“During a recent appearance on Cari & Jemele (Won’t) Stick to Sports, Jake Paul was asked by Hill if his knockout was racist,” Complex.com reports.

Paul seemed to initially shrug off the comment and explained that he trains to win. “But when Champion asked the question again, a visibly annoyed Paul shot back,” Complex.com reports.

“Stop asking me that,” Paul said. “I said ‘no.’ It’s a sport. ... How does this have anything to do with race?”
